Yesterday, I was rummaging in the garage for Christmas stuff, and I came across a bin labeled “Baby Clothes”.
I wonder what’s really in here, I thought. I popped the lid, and was surprised to find, um, baby clothes. They smelled like they’ve been in a bin in the garage for 4 years.
I came across another bin that was similiarly labeled, and sure enough, baby blue onesies appeared when I popped that top, too. I could have sworn I’d given all this away—why did I still have it? (more…)

Rosalynde is looking for some advice and wisdom. Please post your ideas/suggestions.
My oldest is eight, and while I’ve been doing informal sex education with her for years, I think it’s time to have a slightly more detailed and formal discussion. I’ve heard that there are some LDS or generally christian books out there for this kind of thing, meant either to guide the parents or to read together with the child, and I thought that might be a good way to start. Unfortunately I can’t find quite what I’m looking for on the Deseret Book site.
Does anybody have thoughts or experience with this, or, better yet, specific book recommendations?
Thanks!
