Glad to find out I’m not the only one. I just don’t get the Edward obession I see in so many of my friends.

I actually am really enjoying Stephanie Meyer’s new book called The Host. Has anyone else out there read it yet? It is awesome! I posted a mini-review of what I think of it so far on my other blog, Read It, Mommy! (http://readitmommy.blogspot.com)
If you liked Twilight, you should definitely read this book too!

Comment #5 by SueJune 17th, 2008 at 8:53 pmI love the Twilight series but I can’t say I ‘love’ The Host. I’m not a big sci-fi fan at all and I couldn’t believe how much I liked Twilight. I had to limit myself to checking only one Twilight web page per day to see what was happening because I was getting really obsessive about it. I seriously felt like I was going crazy! I’m much more balanced now, but I am excited for the new book and movie to come out.

But I must read each one through all the way. I would never buy one, and if you gave me one I wouldn’t even go to the trouble of selling it: I’d give it away as fast as I could just to be rid of it. But as soon as my aunt finishes the next one, I’ll read it. And be disgusted.

Why didn’t you TELL me that you were selling The Host (I mean besides the fact that you don’t know me at all)! I would totally have purchased it from you because I loved it. I prefer it to the Twilight Series and would like to read it again.
Tonight when I am working at the library I plan to write up my finished review of it on my other blog. You can come argue with me about it there if you wanna. (Read it, Mommy!)
