I don’t want to say too much, because I’m now paranoid about jinxes, but there’s some good news on the house selling front.  Ssshhh…..

I mean, hey, it’s been a year.  I should see some news!  Oh, wait.  Ssshhh….

Did you know that if you have a Harry Potter birthday party, all that’s REALLY required is to hand them $.99 wands then make “butterbeer” with dry ice?  All the other stuff is superfluous.  Sssshhhh….don’t tell anyone.  (Hey, where’s the symbol for ”cents”?  I swear that used to be here.)

I don’t like my new dog very much.  I kind of hope he dies soon.  Ssshhh…don’t tell him.  I would say he already knows, but he’s not that bright. 

I haven’t seen the new Star Trek yet, but I hear it’s great.  Ssshhh…don’t give me any spoilers, but do tell me if you liked it.  I mean, Sylar as Spock?  Don’t you spend the movie wondering if he’s suddenly going to eat a bunch of brains?

Did you hear about this?  Holy cow.  My husband grew up around there, and hopes that when they rebuild, they keep the beauty of the old building in mind and don’t just build a generic chapel.  While I rebuke him for his shallow ways (I mean, hey, just be grateful you have a place to worship, dude!) I also agree with him.  I rebuke myself as well.  Feel free to judge and rebuke us both.

Here’s a fun link for books for boys.  It’s action oriented book clubs to get those reluctant readers to READ.  Of course, if your boy isn’t reluctant to read, then good for you, count your blessings, and check it out anyway, because it’s fun. She’s starting an on-line book club in June, so we’re trying to get the word out.
