Top Chef and Project Runway all in one week!  It’s an embarrassment of riches - especially when they both have 2 fairly long episodes, one with all-stars and then the premiere of the season.  My little eyeballs are going to melt.  You know, in a good way.

So. I ask you - do you want to have multiple reviewers of PR like I did last time?  I’m guessing the audience will be bigger now that it’s on Lifetime, what with more people getting that channel and all. Do you want me to just shut up about the whole thing and continue to whine aimlessly about stuff?

So, really quickly:

TC Masters - Spike is delusional “It’s an honor to get picked last, it means they’re worried I’ll outshine their food.”   I think Rick Bayless is a god.  Oaxacan mole, I mean, really.

TC Las Vegas - “Not to offend anybody, but a girl shouldn’t be able to keep up with me.” Well, that’s officially offensive, dude.  Jen is in it for the long haul, anybody who works with Eric Ripert has my vote.  Of course, she says she’s a beast in the kitchen, but hey, if she can cook - well, it covers a multitude of sins.  Kevin won, and will also be there for a while.

(Why put somebody who can’t shuck clams in the first leg of a relay race where they have to shuck clams?  The second Preeti said “it’s like oysters, right?” somebody should have said - “I’ll do it, you do my task.”  I mean, it was painful.)

I’m just happy to see Tom and Padma again.

PR All-Stars - SO FUN! It was just so fun to see all these people back again.  I wept (well, figuratively) for Korto.  She is unbelievably talented, and totally should have won.  I was not a fan of Daniel’s looks, but it may just speak to my lack of super high-fashion-ness.  I didn’t like that particular shade of blue.  I agreed with Tim Gunn that the ruffles on Sweet P’s stuff were not great, but I guess the judges loved them.  Chris March slept a lot, and still came out in the top 4.  Was it just me, or did he seem like he was a little bit sick? His voice sounded congested, and he just looked like he wasn’t feeling well.  Still, he pulled it off - with plaid wool.  Who’d have thunk?  I had so much fun, just watching these people again.  Santino still bugs.  But he’s good TV, and his Tim Gunn impression is spot on.

PR - Well, I have to admit, I haven’t watched it yet.  I went to bed, but it’s on my DVR!  If someone would like to submit a review, I’ll be happy to post it up.

Happy watching!
