What a strange show. The editing was really weird, since they didn’t really know if it was ever going to air at the time, and knowing that made the canned cheering a little creepy.
Anyway, so Irina wins - big shocker. Yes, her collection was mostly black, but as much as I hate to say it, it was the strongest of the three.
I still wanted Carol Hannah to win. Oh well. Hopefully next season will be better. MUCH better.

that guest judge’s hair. Wow. just, WOW. What was happening there? You know everyone else was just trying not to laugh. And Heidi’s hot pink outfit. Michael Kors gave her a once over at the beginning of the judging part, and it was NOT a good once over.
Also, did anyone else catch Althea’s CRAZY eye roll during one of the interviews? This episode was chock-full of wackiness.
I wanted Carol Hannah to win too, but Project Runway apparently doesn’t do “pretty” unless it’s from Leanne and her WAVES. Which were, um, not that pretty.
But Irena’s collection was the strongest. And the most depressing to look at. Blah.
I thought Logan was so sweet to Carol Hannah on last night’s finale. Do you think it’s possible that the “stomach virus” could have been morning sickness, and that Carol Hannah is carrying Logan’s love-child?

This whole season was a big fat blah. I wanted Carol Hannah to win, too. Althea didn’t belong there at all. Any of the past seasons finalists would have eaten them alive.

I despised “Meana Irina”, thought Althea was annoying and whiny, and that Carol Hannah should have walked away with the prize! Heck, her 13th look blew everyone else’s crud out of the water. Blarg! Next season better grab me in the first episode, or I am going to be OVER Project Runway.

Comment #11 by ZinkaNovember 22nd, 2009 at 5:36 amThis season was a dud… and I am disappointed that Carol Hannah didn’t win. But, as much as I loved her clothes, they didn’t say “collection” to me. I hated IRina’s hats… but seriously, that might have been the cohesive factor that got her the win. When they were critiquing the girls on the runway, I totally thought they were giving it to Althea, becuase they didn’t really offer her a lot of critisism, like they did the other two. I’m just glad this season is over!
Comment #12 by ChristyNovember 22nd, 2009 at 2:01 pmI agree about the weird hats - but wondered in the end if that is what won it for her - the “cohesiveness”. Plus those hats were weird, and weird wins on the runway. But would anyone wear those IRL? No Way! (Not unless you were a goth Robin Hood)
Carol Hannah was my fav, but she could have kicked up the whimsy a bit and made it more fun.
Strange season to be sure, but Lifetime has to figure it out. I didn’t know the next season starts so soon - yeah!
