Last night, we heard the story of the 10 leprechauns from the Bible, as told by my newly turned 7 year old. Only one said thank you! Now I can’t get the image of ungrateful Palestinian leprechauns out of my head.
Sugar free candy is an abomination. As is fat free cheese or fat free ranch.
Chuck E. Cheese is not a fun place to be.
Buying DS games for a birthday present for a 7 year old is just fine, until he puts them in and realizes that his DS is actually broken, and simply charging won’t fix it, even though he insists that’s all it needs. Nintendo will fix it free of charge, but it’ll take 2-3 weeks. Happy birthday! Here’s a case to look at! Enjoy!
I recently learned of the existence of Flight of the Conchords. They are very funny. “Jenny” is very funny, but watch the video - not just the 2 of them singing it, even though that’s fine. It’s just that the video is funnier.
Most of this post is courtesy of my facebook updates, because I have trouble coming up with original thoughts twice in a row. My apologies if this is redundant.
In conclusion: Puppies! Everybody loves puppies!

I don’t like puppies.

Puppies are cute, but I don’t think I ever really want to have one. We like to go visit them at the store. Also, they are generally expensive. If I do ever get a dog, it will be from an animal shelter or the pound.
I have always thought that fake sugar is gross. Sugar-free gum is okay, but that’s about it.
The ten leprechauns sounds like a great story to tell his future fiancée.
At least the DS is getting repaired for free! And it will be kind of pike a second birthday once it finally comes back and he gets to play his games. Which ones did you get? It’s been a couple of years since inlooked at DS games, I have no idea what’s out that’s any good anymore.

There is nothing like a dog pile of 9 bullmastiff puppies. Oh, and that sweet new puppy breath. (Of course there’s nothing quite like cleaning up after them either. Vetting new owners isn’t fun either.)
Comment #4 by JCAugust 28th, 2010 at 7:32 amYeah, puppies are alright. But look out, you probably didn’t know this, but they totally turn into dogs. Gross!
Comment #5 by Alison WonderlandAugust 28th, 2010 at 11:04 amThat is the cutest video ever! I want to hire that man to come to my house at bedtime to sing to me. I’d never need a sleeping aid again. That was magic.
