Lesson #2 - Don’t let Angelo or Tiffani near your food.
Lesson #3 - Cooking involves sharp knives - this is a repeat lesson for this season. You would think the chefs would know this by now.
Lesson #4 - Don’t listen to other chefs and make your own food. Carla learned this one in her season, and remembered it well. Everybody was telling her that her dish was too simple or too homey - tell her that in Italy, baby!
Lesson #5 - When Angelo asks you for a protein, because his apparently became gross from the time he picked it to the time he had to cook it - just say no. Force him to adapt and learn from his mistakes. Tiffany was just too nice to give him that tuna.
And so we see Spike go - farewell. I’m not too sad about this one. Sneaky Spike does nothing for me. Normal Spike (just cooking his heart out) is fine, but strategizing Spike - the one who took all the chicken during his season, and the one who is set on sabotage - bleah.
Carla!!! She sliced her finger and won anyway. She TOTALLY could have gone to the hospital and bowed out, and I would have thought nothing less of her, because frankly, that’s what I would have done - pain sucks - but she stayed and won the whole thing. Love her.
Top 3: Blais, Angelo, Marcel
Winner: Blais (apparently I’ve been spelling it wrong)
Next to go: PLEASE let it be Jamie!! I’m tired of the attitude, and I’m tired of the soups. She loves making soups. We get it. Leave now. It could be anyone, though….this season is all about one mistake on one episode and you’re out.
